David Steckel is the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and resident Home Expert at Thumbtack. In this role, David helps to bring the Thumbtack experience directly into homeowner's lives by identifying organizations with strong customer value propositions and developing unique ways to integrate Thumbtack’s product. Prior to his role at Thumbtack, David founded Setter, a subscription-based home management platform that was acquired by Thumbtack in 2020. Additionally, David has 15 years of experience as a general contractor in the home building industry, and he regularly provides homeowners with the guidance they need to better plan, budget, and complete home maintenance projects.
